Preparations for Valentines Day have started.
This involved poaching a chicken with Asian flavours. Staggering home after long days on the flowers to something hot and tasty and healthy is definitely a good thing. Although the reality is that the last thing you really want is a bowl of chicken broth, and The Hound eats it, whilst i have a bag of chips.

What have we been doing for all this time?
Definitely a head/ brick wall sort of a day. I pressed a button and lost a document I had been working on, and people have tried to help, and sometimes people being helpful can be really annoying.

On splendour and inspiration
Last week I was chatting with a customer and lamenting the lack of splendour in the wedding world.
It is a world currently under the spell of "DIY" "budget" and "pom-pom" and "standing in fields"
which is wonderful if that's your thing, and you're not a cold and grumpy supplier wearing 3 thermal tops and uggs, and longing for a bit of glamour and who hates pinterest.

Annual prop sale
We are holding our annual prop sale again.
It starts this Saturday au shop.
Things that we have used for weddings, or shoots, or shop display, or things i have bought on the off chance, or the bits that come with the thing that you actually want in a box at the auction.
I cleared out the prop room rooms over the weekend, and have discovered that i own all the china plates in the world.
